When the transport assignment is scheduled and a driver is assigned, the assignment will appear in the app for the designated driver. See the article on how to register drivers and give them access to the app here: Driver Registration.
Overview
The assignments are categorized based on the current date. There may be multiple slips per assignment.
"Completed Assignments" are assignments completed in the last 7 days. Older assignments are not shown in the app but are available in Onlet.
In the overview screen, the assignments include the following information:
- Assignment Number
- Transport Description
- Slip Number
- Assignment Address
- Delivery Date and Time
- Vehicle Number/Registration Number
- Statuses
- Quick link to view delivery description, products, and signature (3 circle symbols)
The driver receives a notification in the driver app when a new assignment is assigned to him/her. Other relevant changes are also shown here. The notification icon is orange when new changes have occurred, and you tap the icon to see recent changes.
Tap the arrow to the right to change transport time, vehicle, or transport note.
Assignment Status
Drivers choose which assignments they want to perform and can set the status by pressing and holding the status buttons.
You can select which statuses you want to use in the driver app. Read about the setup under Dynamic Transport Status.
Reversing Assignments to Planning
If an assignment needs to be set back to planning, you can select "Started" and a dialog box will appear asking about this. The planner can, at any time, set the assignment back to planning if the information is incorrect.
Assignments
Here you will find more information about the assignment and can register deviations. The driver can upload pictures both on the assignment and for deviations.
Signature
You can obtain a signature upon delivery/pickup by tapping the red pencil in the overview screen of assignments or within each assignment. When signed, the pencil turns green and the signature is saved on the packing-/return slip.
When you tap the pencil, a signing screen opens (image on the right) where the customer can sign with their finger on the screen. You can also immediately send the signed slip to the customer here.
Incidents
If needed, incidents can be registered with a "traffic light" system that notes the severity level the driver believes the deviation belongs to. This can be overridden by the planner afterward in a separate deviation management screen in Onlet. See a separate article for Incidents Management.
