General maintenance is something that is created as needed if a product requires maintenance outside of the regular interval service. The description is by default General, or the same name as the maintenance type that is created, but can be overwritten to a more descriptive name related to the fault.
If more types of general maintenance are desired, to have better overview, they are created under maintenance settings.
