Setting RFI (Ready for Invoice) on sales product
For sales products, you can define that RFI is automatically set at status Delivered or Returned.
RFI at Delivered status
If RFI is set to be triggered at Delivered, RFI will be registered when the product is delivered. This means that everything delivered will be invoiced. Any returns will then be corrected on the next invoice or via a credit note.
If you do not want invoicing upon delivery, RFI must be removed manually on the relevant order line. The line will then appear in the RFI follow-up view for further processing, or RFI can be set manually upon return. In such cases, there will always be a RFI discrepancy for follow-up.
RFI at Returned status
If RFI is set to be triggered at Returned, RFI will not be registered upon delivery. Instead, a triangle warning will appear indicating a RFI discrepancy – even though this is expected in practice.
This warning is necessary to ensure follow-up of the order line if no return is received. In such cases, the RFI discrepancy will capture this, and RFI must be set manually so that delivered products are invoiced.
If the products are actually returned, RFI will be set automatically.
Return directly on return note
The same principle as described above applies if a sales item is added directly on the return note.
Advance invoicing
Sales products are invoiced at the time of delivery. Upon return, the system settles the quantity.
The products automatically appear for crediting:
Post-invoicing
Sales products are invoiced at the time of return. Upon return, Onlet settles what has been delivered/returned.
The products appear for invoicing.
