If there are maintenance tasks that need to be repeated after a certain period, a interval controlled maintenance is established. These can be configured to repeat either based on time or after intervals based on the machine's hour meter. The hour meter can be updated manually or automatically via the GPS module.
By default, there is one standard maintenance type called Interval controlled, but it is possible to create multiple frequency-based maintenance types with custom names under Settings, for example, Annual Inspection, 1000 Hour Check, etc., to keep better track.
Regularity
Interval controlled maintenance, like other maintenance, has a start date and end date. The length of the maintenance period for each maintenance is set up under Maintenance Settings. Under regularity, you can select a value, then Day, Week, Month, or Year.
If you select At maintenance start, the maintenance will occur on the same date each year, provided you do not change the From-time date, but only change the To-time for when the maintenance was performed. This is used if you have an annual inspection where the approval date is the same every year, but for example, you have the option to perform it 1 month before the final deadline without shifting the date.
If you select At maintenance end, the date next year will have the same end date as this year's inspection. So if you perform the inspection 1 week before the deadline, the maintenance next year will be shifted 1 week forward, so it is exactly 1 year until the next inspection when it was performed.
Hour appears as an option on products that have the Hour Meter activated. Here, the maintenance will automatically get a start date and appear in the maintenance overview as soon as the hour meter exceeds the limit.
