Activating Payment-Free Days on Customer Group
You must first check the columns under "possibility for reduced payment" at the customer group level under Settings > Standard Registries > Customer Group. If you want customers in the selected customer group to have this as the default on orders, you must also check the columns under default values.
You can choose whether the customer should have standard payment-free days on Saturdays, Sundays, and registered payment-free days/holidays listed under the "Payment-Free Days" tab.
Note: To override payment-free days at the customer level, you must check "possibility for reduced payment" on the customer group.
Registering Payment-Free Days
Infobric enters holidays in the setup, but you can add custom payment-free days, for example during summer vacation, under Settings > Standard Registries> Payment-Free Days.
Payment-Free Days on the Customer Card
Under the "Finance" tab on the customer card, information is retrieved from the customer group. Here you have the option to override the selections.
- If the customer only has the "possibility for" payment-free days and not "standard," this must be activated manually per order by clicking the calendar in the "Red. pay." column.
- If the customer has payment-free days as standard, it will be activated automatically on orders as long as it is also activated on the group under which the product booked falls. See more information in the section below.
Activating Payment-Free Days at the Group Level
Payment-free days must be activated on the group for the customer to receive payment-free days as standard when booking products under the relevant group:
Payment-Free Days at the Order Level
When the customer has payment-free days as standard and payment-free days are activated on the group, this will be marked with an asterisk (*) behind the calendar in the "Red. Pay." column. You can click the calendar to open the setup. Here you can see payment-free days from standard registers and have the option to give the customer custom payment-free days on the specific product. If you have payment-free Saturdays and Sundays and the machines are in use, you can enter new payable Saturdays/Sundays so the customer is charged.
If the customer only has the possibility for payment-free days, you must click the calendar and activate this per order line.
If you have the GPS overuse module, you can easily charge machines that are in use on payment-free days. Read more about the module here: Overuse - GPS 2
You can select multiple order lines if you want to enter a payment-free period for several products in the same procedure.
Note: All selected lines will have the same payment-free day setup.
