Relationship are something you set up to connect products with other products or services. These can be products and services that automatically follow along or appear as alternatives where you actively choose one or more accompanying products. You also set up when in the order process the relationship should be added or appear as an option, whether it is during Ordering, Delivery, Deregistration, or Return.
Relationship are set up under Products -> Relationship, where you enter a group or product and click Add. If you add relationship to a group or subgroup, all products in these groups will inherit the relationship.
When creating an order from the resource management view, the relationship are listed under the main product, and the relationship that should be included are automatically checked. Here you have the option to remove or add relationship you have entered during the setup.
When picking products from the product search view, the relationship appear in a separate window:
In the order view, you can see that a product is a relationship or has a relationship when the "chain" icon is locked. An open "chain" means the product has no relationship. You can click on the chain to open an overview of the main product and related products. You can also link other products in the order that can be related (products without relationship).
Common Relationships
Fuel
For product groups that use fuel, it is common to include this for Return. It may be wise to choose quantity 0 for fuel, as the quantity will always vary on each order and Onlet will notify if you try to invoice an order line that has quantity 0.
Cleaning
If you have mandatory cleaning, this can be added during Ordering and check Include. If you add cleaning based on condition at return, check Return and not Include, so that you must actively make a choice to add it.
Transport
Transport can preferably be activated both during Ordering and Return, or Delivery and Deregistration. Then you will be asked twice during the order process if transport should be added.
Key
Many choose to add a key as an accessory on all machines. If you select Property: Accessory, the Key product will not have a price and will not appear on the invoice. The reason to include this as an accessory is that if it is damaged/lost, you can easily mark it as lost on the return and it will automatically invoice the loss on the order.
