In an order process, you have full control over the entire order process. This means you can manage delivery and returns, and you have the ability to override prices when needed. Additionally, you can add various references and notes that arise during the process, ensuring that all relevant information is documented and taken into account.
If you want to learn how to create an order and add products, you can take a closer look at Booking process, where this is explained in detail.
With the tabs in an order, you can filter where the products are in the order flow.
Orders shows order lines that have been ordered but not yet delivered.
Delivered products includes products that have been delivered to the customer, including rental products, accessories, sales products, and services.
Rented applies only to rental products and accessories that are actively with the customer.
Off hire products are rental products and accessories that the customer has unsubscribed from and that are to be returned or picked up.
Returned products are products that were previously delivered to the customer but have now been returned and closed.
All order lines shows all order lines that have been ordered, delivered to the customer, or returned.
Prices
Prices are automatically retrieved from the product's price list but can be overridden on each individual order line. If the price is to be discounted, you can either specify a discount percentage or directly enter the unit price, where the discount is then calculated automatically. If changes are made to the price of the product itself or the customer is assigned a new discount template, this will not affect the order line. To update the price on the order, you must select the order line and click Recalculate from price list. You can also press Retrieve customer data, where all order lines will be recalculated.
If there are periods when the customer should not be charged for the product, such as weekends, holidays, or a custom time period, you can add payment-free days. More information about this can be found here.
