Under Basic Setup, groups or products are activated for the desired maintenance type. You choose how high up in the product structure you want to activate maintenance. In the example below, Delivery inspection is activated for all 5T Hitachi Excavators located in the subgroups.
Checklists
Checklists are a list of items that the maintenance performer goes through and marks each item as completed. It can be set as required if you want to ensure that the maintenance cannot be completed without going through it. If the checklist is used more as a reminder list, it does not need to be set as required, and the performer can set the maintenance to Completed status regardless of the checklist.
Checklists can be reused for other maintenance tasks by using Retrieve from checklist register, and you can have multiple checklists per maintenance.
