Groups
Under Groups, you select which product groups should be active in the Maintenance module. You can only create maintenance for products that are in the product groups marked here.
Settings
Here you will find various settings for maintenance and you can enter a standard title and text for customer-financed reports.
Maintenance Types
Delivery Inspection and Return Inspection are mandatory statuses, but you have the option to rename them.
Interval controlled maintenance is maintenance that should automatically appear at a given interval, based on time or hour meter. This can, for example, be an annual inspection. You can use the same maintenance type for all frequency-based maintenance, or you can create several different ones to name them for better overview.
General maintenance is maintenance you create as needed, if a product has sustained damage that needs repair.
Maintenance Statuses
The statuses apply to all maintenance types. Not performed, Started, and Completed are mandatory statuses and you can only rename them. The others can be removed, or you can add more statuses for better overview of the maintenance tasks.
Checklist Register
Here you can create new and edit existing checklists. The checklists you create can be uploaded into the Basic setup by pressing the "Retrieve from checklist register" button. You can cancel the inheritance of checklist statuses and add your own statuses to desired checklists. Read about checklist statuses in the section below.
When you create a new checklist that is not yet linked to a group/product in the basic setup, you can find this by checking "Show checklists without relation". If the checklist is linked to a group in the basic setup, the relevant group must be selected in the group structure on the left. Then the checklist is no longer without a relationship.
Checklist Statuses
Here you can choose which checklist statuses you want to use on the checklists and you can change their names. You cannot have more than 4 statuses, but you can choose to hide the ones you do not want to use. All checklists you create automatically retrieve the statuses from this layout, but you can override per checklist by unchecking the box "Use standard setup" (see bottom image).
Important information
- These statuses apply to all checklists where they are not overridden at the group/product level, and will affect old maintenance. If you need to change this without affecting old maintenance, you should first update old checklists to override the standard checklist statuses (see image below), and then change the register with new checklist statuses that are linked to new checklists per group/product.
- Custom statuses are not translated into other languages
Checklist printout
If a maintenance is linked to an order, the checklist will have signature fields at the bottom of the printout.
